Born Again:
Abomination
An A.I. war has ravaged the country and the factions of humanity are scattered. The Ancient race of 200 year old people are exiled to the frozen wasteland of the Arctic, while their enemy; the rebellious, pure Sapiens try to rebuild. A father and his family are trying to get home but the war is not quite done with them yet. Neutral to either cause, the father will have to remain strong, in the face of a returning evil that threatens his peace, and his family’s way of life.
When everyone thought it was over, something is stirring in the forgotten places of the world. From the ashes of Artificial Creation, a new threat grows that may change the course of human evolution--the next phase of synthetic species has spawned, bringing mankind closer to its own extinction... A harrowing continuation of daunting adventure and a perilous journey of what a father will do for family, what someone will do for love or for hate, and what one person is willing to do for another. What is humanity willing to do to save itself?
Synopsis

Much like the 'Avatar' sequel, I faced the task of what to make this second book about...
Just kidding, I actually knew exactly what I wanted this to be about--well, honestly, I knew what I wanted the third book to be about. I knew the ending, at least. You see, this was never intended to be a trilogy. I started the process, planning to write a one-off, stand-alone story. One and Done. I had a great ending for that book, however...ran out of time! I was coming close to the end of an acceptable length of novel, when I realized I still had so much more story to tell, so...I made the decision to make this a trilogy.
I'm actually glad, because it gave me more time with my characters, and I had an amazing time writing this bridge story into the next.
IT could say it was a challenge to come up with what to write about, but I'd be lying. In fact, I think most authors would agree that trimming stuff out of your work is the hardest part. I've struggle with writer's block a little, but writing and letting the ideas flow hasn't much been a problem for me. I could probably just keep going and going if you let me. Lol. Like I said, the cutting is harder, having to edit out scenes and shorten the work is more challenging. Anyway, this second installment was a thrill for me to create and I hope it will be a thrill for you to read!
