At the end of the line...It's always a bit sad when a saga ends.  While it does come with a sense of closure and peace, it's sad that our time with characters we love is now gone.  I guess the good thing about books, movies or songs is that we can read them, watch, or listen again, as many times as we want.  There's nothing like the first time you get to experience something though.  As a fan and not a writer for a moment, I often would love to go back and be able to watch shows or movies again, as if for the first time and reexperience all those thrilling emotions.  The other great thing, though, is that as we spend more time reliving our favourite stories, there are tons of things we can pick up on and notice about it that we didn't before, and these things enhance the story even more and we get to revel in the story in new ways!  I think of 'The Usual Suspects', after you know Verbal Kint is Keyser Soze the whole time, there's one scene I love.  Agent Kujan circles around him and says he's smarter than Verbal.  Verbal smiles to himself, and when you now know that he's making everything up the whole time, it's so amazing as an audience to see that.  Story is amazing, and I love it!  I hope you will be able to enjoy my books as much and hopefully read the multiple times as they become new favourites in your collection.
This was an especially fun story for me to write, in terms of the themes in A.I. and what a world could look like in the future.  I feel pretty strongly about the fact that our humanity is sacred and beautiful and I think too often we take it for granted.  I think we rely on technology too much and there's this strange idea that we should be ashamed of ourselves as humans, especially on the 'Christian' side of things that I observe.  I believe we should embrace ourselves as human, while learning to forgive ourselves and work on ourselves.  I wanted these to just be a fun adventure, and didn't want to preach too much.  I mean...every story is essentially trying to "say" something, and there's a message in anything meaningful, or else why do we write?  I like to just write good action, good dialogue and good interactions with characters, and hopefully the reader can draw their own conclusions and figure out the rest.  I do throw in a little bit of my beliefs, peppering my stories with it just a little, but it's never my intention to "Preach" for lack of a better term.  I just want to tell good stories and give readers the same experiences I have enjoyed as a fan myelf!
